Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a hidden gem down a country lane, offering a peaceful and rural feel. While the location may be a bit obscure initially, it provides easy access to Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire with a touch of history. The service was exceptional, with friendly and informative staff. The dining experience was generous and freshly cooked, although some ingredients were perceived as cheap.
My stay at the hotel was simply wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for my needs, being close to Nottingham, and the dining experience was delicious, especially the Full English breakfast. However, the orange juice was a letdown. I would definitely return for another visit soon.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay - the hotel is so close to the motorway yet feels secluded. The accommodations were top-notch, with evening meals available and generous breakfasts served by the friendliest staff. The only downside was being able to hear everything from the next room at one point, but that’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise perfect experience.
